Flavor First Foods, Inc. founded in 2010 now reflects the need to help small independent restaurants in the New England area become the next regional or national chain. The state of the art facility is located in West Bridgewater, MA specializing in proprietary sauces, soups, salsas and dressings packaged in flexible pouches ranging from 8oz to 4#. Their small business focus enables Flavor First Foods to help local entrepreneurs bring their product from concept to production with our low minimum runs. The USDA/FDA inspected facility encompasses 8,000 square feet of test kitchen, production area, cold storage and private loading docks.
Chef Gregory João Silva has over 25 years of foodservice experience ranging from restaurants to exclusive hotels. His education started with a Foods & Nutrition degree from Radford University, and continued through his education at The Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY. His career path changed when he started with Heinz North America. His last position before starting his own food manufacturing company was the West Coast Corporate Chef to the National Account Team. There he developed sauces, soups and dressings for some of the largest national chains. This gave him an extensive understanding on custom proprietary products for national rollouts. After moving back to New England, he quickly saw the need for a food manufacturing company that catered to the small businesses.
He also offers one on one development in his test kitchen to help customers commercialize their products.
